Amritsar – Dalhousie – Dharamshala – Chandigarh

Most IVs were never about being pious (we know) but here’s one that adds the culture quotient alongside a fantastic side of industry and nature.

Arrive at Amritsar for a reflective visit to the Golden Temple before you touch upon Jallianwala Bagh and watch the daily parade at the Wagah Border.

Jump rooms to Dalhousie where you visit the ethereal landscapes of Chamba and Khajjiar, before the Dalai Lama’s adopted hometown of Dharamshala pulls you and your delirious friends away. Take in the best of Tibetan-inspired architecture and places of worship before signing off with a walk at the Rock Gardens of Chandigarh.

Because the delicacies you’ll devour in the land of Guru Gobind needs atonement too!
